These days my mind can be full of crazy thoughts and sometimes is it easily to forget all the great things of life. Personally, the last few weeks I’m quite high in my emotions due some physical/mental issues that just affects my daily life – more about it here. Will I be able to walk, run, sit or bike normally again? Will I be bikini ready for my tropical trip at the end of August? Or am I doing my job right? I think we all have our insecurities and sometimes it’s just good to focus on the positive things in life. Like those small things that can make you happy..
1 / new sunglasses – I just got my hands one some Ace&Tate sunglasses that I’ve been eyeing on for year! Here comes the sun!
2/ weekend getaways – I just came back from a city break to Rotterdam at Nhow Rotterdam. Perfect way relax!
3/ fruit season – I just get super excited about all the strawberries, mangos, bananas and kiwi’s during my grocery shopping.
4/ long summer nights – Include those golden hours, eating outside with friends and late
5/ smoothies – Lately I’m making them every morning and it’s the perfect way to start my day!
6/ new shoes – A bit superficial, but great shoes can make or break your day!
7/ driving around with my bf – Just driving around with the windows open on a hot summer day is what I love to do the most!
8/ working out – The last few weeks I couldn’t workout due to my injury but now I’m working on some home work-outs. So good!
9/ scrubbing time – It’s my true obsession while showering – I just can’t get enough of the &Other Stories sugar scrubs
10/ waking up early – It sounds a bit weird but during Spring and Summer I love to get up early and get things done!
11/ my cats – I’m really a cat lady and during my high & lows they are just great animals to come home to.
12/ massages – Lately I’m suffering from sore muscles and a massage just help me to relax!
13/ homemade food – In the end my mind en body just prefers healthy + homemade food! So yummy!
14/ making travel plans – I always get excited about making plans for my upcoming travels! What will be next?
15/ taking some steps back – Sometimes it good to take life a bit easier and give your mind + body some rest!
