When Thomas Eindhoven asked me to experience and try out their high tea I was really curious to see what it would be. Thomas Eindhoven is really known from their pretty pink interior, great food&drinks and the nice parties they have almost every weekend. So with this in mind I had high expectations of this high tea. When it comes to these tea get-togethers I like to have a combination of savoury and sweet snacks. In this way I’ll not get a sugar rush and have a mix of several flavors.
While entering the location of Thomas Eindhoven I was blown away by the interior of the building and the size of it – it’s so huge! The entire interior is full of pink, pretty mural paintings and balloon everywhere – of course perfect for a pink lover like me.
ROYAL HIGH TEA
When we were settled and had a great view over the entire building, we received out first course. It was a delicious carrot soup that was perfect as a starter. While mixing this with tea and several tea flavors, lemon, ginger and mint we couldn’t wait to see which courses would follow. The next course was filled with savoury snacks that were presented on a etagere. Because it was around lunch time we could wait to start trying it all out! We got sandwiches with cream cheese, a tortilla with a delicious filling, blini with smoked salmon and much more. It was all so good! If this wasn’t enough we got served pie with chicken ragout and quiche with greens. At this point we already started to feel full but there was more. To end this all on a high we got a full sweet platter filled with sweet pie, donuts, fruit, pastries, macaroons and typical English scones. So yummy!
My review: the quality and quantity of the snacks in this high tea was really good. Also the possibility of adding more sweet things at the candy corner was really a great concept. The atmosphere is really feminine so it’s perfect to this with your friends, mom and family. I think it the perfect for a celebration of your baby shower, birthday or bachelor party. I think this was one of the best high teas I’ve ever had! So I would really recommend it when you’re visiting Eindhoven.
Thomas Eindhoven is due to current circumstances closed until April 6th.
It’s also possible to buy and gift card and enjoy this high tea later this year.
