During my trip to New York I haven’t quite been in a shopping mood because after a full day of sightseeing the last thing I wanted to do was entering a packed store of people. Luckily the opening hours of some stores are stretched up to 2 or 3AM – so so crazy! Yes, I’ve been browsing around but in the end I only ended up with only a few things. Coming home after a crazy trip like this made in the mood of having a spring cleaning of my wardrobe and this also means I need some new additions in my closet for the summer.
While it was around +25 hours in the Big Apple and some warmer days at home I’m currently craving for some true summertime pieces. A few pieces that I can wear for several years, are comfortable, can be styled with the rest of my closet and can been worn for several occasions – from casual to chic. This time I’ll not getting unfluenced by big trends, so you won’t see me wearing the oh-so-trendy suede or a flower print that makes me eyes go crazy. No, staying true to my minimal and tomboy roots with a lot of denim, white, black and grey – that’s how I roll!
