We all have that urge to hold on to those great moments that define us and makes us feel free and on top of the world. But hey, it’s still not possible to travel back in time. But still I’m often reliving those amazing moments from the last few year – like being Top of the Rock in New York or traveling around the Wadi Rum on a camel in Jordan. When we travel it feels like we’re in a totally different timezone and we often want to hold on this carefree moments. Yes, time is a luxury good and we all want to spend it in the best way and that’s not easy in a world where have devices that keep us constantly connected with work, with friends and family, and sometimes even with complete strangers. Personally I find me-time super important these days and today I wanted to share with you a few tips how to enjoy your free time to the fullest so you have more time left to relax and feel more free (like those days during your holiday).
Plan in free time
These days we’re always so busy and it seems to be we don’t have time to relax and just enjoy life. Like with other appointments it’s necessary to schedule free-time where you can set your mind free, let creativity flow or read a book to set your brain into an other level.
Sleeping beauty
When you sleep for around 7 tot 8 hours per night (this is just an average) you’ll get enough sleep to be energetic and focused enough to make the best of it during the day. When you’ll be able to do more during the day you’ll end up with more time to relax and make time for the more important things in life.
Slow down (Social) media usage
When we have free time we often grab our phone, put on the tv or binge watch series on Netflix to feel relax and it often feels like a reward. Personally I think it’s important slow down you (social) media usage to feel truly free again. Enjoy your house by a good spring clean-up and redecorating, a great walk around your neighbourhood or just enjoy your loved ones.
