I need to be honest with you guys. The last few weeks haven’t been the easiest ones and sometimes I truly didn’t know what to do with myself. I cried, been extreme frustrated and had sleepless nights from the pain. I know, I only had an injury on my leg (my entire leg is still in cast for a few weeks) but as a young lady who always have been on to go this has caused me to put some steps back. A negative journey full ups and downs but with so many inspiring moments – and I still have many weeks left for my recovery.
We all want to best, be more succesful, earn more money or just achieve milestone after milestone. Everything has to be fast, fast fast and no time to take a step back. I think we all set our goals and sometimes forget the journey we all have to go through. Like to one I’m going through. Of course, I easily could be sitting at home frustrated and feeling miserable 24/7 but that has never been an option for me. Instead I wanted to see this injury as a moment as something positive, to take some much-needed rest, read that book that has been waiting for me or just spend quality time with my loved ones. Also my view on working out has totally changed me because now I do it because I want to get strong again & prevent this will happen again. An inspiring journey – where something negative brings up the positive.
While being stuck at home I couldn’t resist reading this heavy book I received from Buddha to Buddha about the 20 year history of this jewellery label. I think we all know a bit of this brand of their jewellery line and lifestyle products. With their laid back attitude they are truly a unique brand in the ongoing fast-fashion landscape. Did you know that one single bracelet takes up to 3 days to make – all handmade. Instead going for the (most well-known) heavy silver rings or bracelets I went for more refined pieces that are more my taste. Great to combine with my other minimal jewellery pieces. Did you know Buddha to Buddha already? What do you think of the pieces I chose.
I’m wearing Buddha to Buddha mens sweater, silver stone Ben bracelet and Marcella stone ring
