With the start of the new year my boyfriend and I got in the mood for making a plan to re-decorate every part of our house. Room by room we want to create something that totally fits out taste for a reasonable budget.
I would love to start with our walk in closet but I must agree our bedroom is the first room we need to start with. When we moved in here a few years ago the bedroom was covered in a salmon pink that was literally everywhere. So the first we did was making everything white with a hint of mint green for that Caribbean touch (after our trip to Curacao). After this, we haven’t done anything with this room. So I thought this year it’s time for something new.
The new wallpaper by Farrow & Ball is already in to replace the green and it’s perfect for the monochrome theme I’m going for. For now, I’m on the hunt for accessories to spice it up and it seems to be I’m quite into marble and copper. Sorry, not sorry!
And no, that first image isn’t my bedroom. I wish! After the re-decoration I will show the before & after image…
