Yes! Just like (almost) every girl in the world who grew up in the 90’s I was a true fan of the Spice Girls. I still can remember that a few friends and I formed a girl (playback) group and performed during Elementary School – of course I always was Scary Spicy with big teased hair. We all know the revival of the 90’s is in full swing right now and that means the typical Spice Girl platform shoes are back.
Recently Stella McCartney introduced her hyped platform boots which was picked up by many bloggers. Yes, I kinda liked them too but the heavy price tag was a big no-no for me. It all gave me some flashback to my own childhood where I begged my mom for the (ugliest) silver coated platform because they were so popular back then. In the end…wearing platform shoes is quite nostalgic for me and I’m happy they are more in a ‘classic brogues’ version right now. What are your thoughts about platform shoes? Yay or no?
