This last month of the year is always there to reflect on all those previous months and think about what you have done and learned. Of course, you can do this every moment of the year but doing this in December just has become a tradition. For me, 2015 was good and I had several ups and actually I can’t remember some serious downs. And in the end, whatever happens, we all learn from it. So today I’m going to share some things I learned this year. Don’t forget to share yours and what you’ve learned this year…
LETTING THINGS GO…
Letting things, people and feelings go and don’t be stuck in things that don’t matter in the end is the main thing I learned this year. This makes me live more in the moment, don’t worry that much and be so much happier in the end. Of course, I had some ‘down’ days but this was only for a short moment and I always try to focus on something more important. Besides this all I also came more to the conclusion to focus on the right people instead of the ones that don’t give the right positive energy back. Letting people go out of life isn’t easy but sometimes the right thing to do.
TRAVELING IS SO IMPORTANT
From Jordan to New York, all these travels were so amazing and made really impact. Again, I came to the conclusion traveling gives me so much more back than money can buy. Saving for big travels is what I want to do more and what will become more my main focus in life. Living abroad or go on a longer trip? These are some things that keeps my mind going and I can’t wait to see what the future has to offer.
BE HAPPY WITH YOURSELF
Of course, sometimes I still feel insecure about myself, how I look or what I can do. But in the end I learned this year to be just happy with the great things in life and not to be in doubt about less important things. It’s just a waste of time to live your life with too many negative thoughts.
BEING ACTIVE
Last year I started to work out more at a Crossfit box and for me that was a changing moment when it comes to working out. Still, I still have a long road to go and I’m still there where I want to be. But mentally and physically I learned so much this year about being active and I can’t wait to start working out more this year. Because hey, feeling good in my body somewhere on a tropical beach is what I’m planning to do next year.
LIVE NOW
Actually, these days the world doesn’t seem to be that happy place anymore and people living their lives without really enjoying it. This year I really tried to live more in the moment and appreciate the little things in life. Life can go so fast and can be over in a split second. The last thing I want is coming to the realisation I haven’t lived my life to the fullest. Be happy, live now and don’t worry!
