It’s not a surprise bloggers took over the book-world and it’s almost becoming something you need to do to be part of the cool crowd. Oh yes, sometimes I just like exaggerate a bit but you understand what I’m talking about. Bloggers share stories about their life, lessons they learned, recipes or DIYs – all on paper for your to buy. Personally I’m asking myself if some bloggers have something new to say? Or is it just a new way spice up your income and make it part of your branding. Of course, some people can truly inspire you with their life experience but do you really need that book for that? What do you think?
Until this moment I didn’t tempted to buy any ‘blogger’ book – for all the reasons above. Lately I was thinking from who I would like to buy a book of? Eventually I only could come up with one name. One French lady living in New York and which I’ve been following from the start. Yes, its Garance Dore. She already inspired with her photography, beautiful drawings and her writings that’s filled with humor and honesty. She’s 40 now, is living, in my eyes, a life I only could wish for and I’m so excited to read more about her life and the things she learned in her soon to be released book ‘Love Style Life‘. I truly I hope it will be more than just a ‘blogger’ book and something unique.
Yes, I pre-ordered it already and of course I’ll share with you my thoughts of it. Soon more…
FYI: Love Style Life will be released in English throughout the world on October 27, in French on December 2.
