Go shorty, it’s your birthday! Two weeks ago I was celebrating my birthday in one of my favorite cities – Antwerp! To show you all a bit what I’ve been up to there, where I’ve been sleeping and where to shop and to eat I’m giving you an insight in my 24 hours in Antwerp.
I was invited by Accor Hotels to experience the Ibis Hotel in the city centre of Antwerp during my birthday. Of course, who can’t say no to that? Together with my boyfriend I headed the day before my bday to this great Belgium city to enjoy it to the fullest. The hotel, just located a street way from the Meir (the shopping street of Antwerp), made it absolutely perfect for a short stay and have all the facilities you need super close. Of course, this hotel is just very simple one which you can’t compare with a design hotel but it just has all the things you need on a great location.
I find Antwerp the perfect city to stroll around and just explore the cute small alleys and streets. I’m not a Antwerp-expert but I would love to share a few of my favorite:
