See this picture above? It’s from September last year when I was hiking around the mountains of La Palma (Canary Islands) and felt on top of the world. Back then, I was working out quite frequently and found my love for weightlifting thanks to Crossfit. Becoming fit (and hiking) was really a part of my life. Body-wise I wasn’t where I wanted to be but in the end this didn’t matter because I felt good and just accepted it all. Pure happiness!
Now, May 2016, this all has changed a bit. I started this year with several injuries which resulted in seven weeks with my leg in cast. I’m still recovering and learning how to walk and bike normal again. These months where hard, I cried and my emotions went up and down every day because I just wanted to be the old me again. I knew something had to change and the last few weeks I was searching for the perfect way to get back on track again when it comes to working out and eating healthy again. Since April I already tried to do this on my own but in the end I knew I couldn’t do this on my own and needed to ask for help. Something or somebody who could give me guidance in this new chapter. And that’s where Personal Body Plan came in…
For a while now I’ve been following several fit girls and guys and I saw they all are connected to Personal Body Plan in some kind of way. Like Tom Barten (founder of PBP) who shares often interesting things about food and working out or Hannah who has founded Doormeal and inspires me in so many ways. So PBP has been on my mind for a while now but I’ve never took the step to become part of it. But what is PBP actually? And is it maybe something for you too?
Personal Body Plan is your online personal trainer, lifestyle coach and nutrition coach that gives you the right guidance 24/7. With a large group of coaches they’ll help you to become the best version of yourself and make positive changes for the rest of your life. I was quite impressed by the progress pics you can find on their Instagram or Facebook page but I was still quite hesitated if it really would be something for me. Would I really feel comfortable to be truly honest with myself, make changes and become more open to others and ask for the right help?
YES! YES! YES! The only way to find out is to do it. I’ll be starting my own PBP journey (for the next 6 months) at the beginning of June, next Monday already, and I’m so excited about it. Besides this all I’ll give you a monthly update here about my progress, my experiences and give you some tips&tricks here and there. And the best things… you can still join me by starting your own PBP journey if you register at Personal Body Plan before June 1st. Will I see you at #team6juni?
